My name is David Binns. I began working out three years ago and while I was able to lose weight, I still lacked tone. I began lifting but only showed very small results after a year. Since I have started training with Armen, I have gained about 8 lbs of muscle in a short 3 months. I have more energy, better stamina, and my workout regimen has improved as well to be more rounded. These are things that I tried to do myself by reading books on the subject but that I am now convinced only comes with years experience and an extended education in training. These are both things that Armen possesses and has used to guide me to very favorable results. Using his advice I have improved my diet, and focused on foods that help burn fat and build muscle. My workouts have reached new levels with him pushing me to attain the best results. Armen has also helped me to create a workout schedule for the whole week, not just at personal training. CBD Oil: The New Big Thing

Get the basics on CBD oil.

It’s advertised online, in magazines, and in every store you enter, and you’re probably wondering what all the hype is. Called CBD oil for short, cannabidiol oil is derived from the flowers of marijuana or hemp plants and then mixed in a carrier such as coconut oil or hemp seed oil. And in case you haven’t noticed, CBD oil is gaining popularity around the world.

With claims of relieving pain, treating epilepsy, and reducing anxiety, does CBD oil follow through and is it safe to use? Keep reading to find out.

Is It Safe?

CBD oil is just one of the many compounds found in the marijuana plant. Because it doesn’t contain the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD oil does not cause intoxication or the typical “high” experienced from marijuana. The claimed result is that with the oil, people can experience the potential health benefits of marijuana without its negative side effects.

The World Health Organization states that CBD is typically well tolerated by patients, with negative effects being not the result of CBD alone, but due to CBD interactions with other medications. Therefore, checking with your physician before beginning CBD is vital.

While seemingly safe, potential risks arise from not using pure CBD. At this time, anyone can produce and sell CBD oil without regulation. For this reason, it’s hard to find a manufacturer you can trust. One study found that 70 percent of the CBD products tested didn’t contain the level of CBD oil the product claimed. Even more shocking, 20 percent of the products contained some level of THC, which can worsen the health conditions you’re trying to treat.

What’s It Used For?

People use CBD oil to treat a variety of medical conditions, but there is very little scientific evidence to support much of its use. Research into the uses and effectiveness of CBD oil is ongoing.

The one use for CBD oil that is proven is treatment for two types of childhood epilepsy. While anti-seizure medications don’t always work, CBD oil has amazing results.

Additionally, CBD is used to aid a variety of other conditions and situations. These include the following:

• For thousands of years, marijuana has been used to treat pain. People use CBD oil to reduce inflammation and relieve the pain of sciatica, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and more.
• CBD oil may have a positive effect on mental health. Prescription drugs used to treat depression and anxiety come with potential negative side effects and some may be addictive. If you’re looking for a natural way to treat depression or anxiety, talk with your doctor about CBD oil.
• CBD oil may work to lower high blood pressure, a risk factor for heart attack, stroke, and metabolic syndrome.
• Acne is the result of genetics, inflammation, and oily skin. Studies show CBD oil may help reduce breakouts due to its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to decrease skin’s oil production.
• Many people with cancer or undergoing cancer treatments turn to CBD oil for relief from pain, nausea, and vomiting.
• Other potential uses for CBD oil include diabetes prevention and treatment for substance abuse, insomnia, psychotic disorders, muscle soreness, headaches, and cancer.

How Do You Use It?

If you choose to use CBD oil, do so under the supervision of a doctor who understands its risks and benefits.

You can take CBD oil different ways. You can inhale it by vaping or smoking, apply the oil to your skin through balms or ointments, place the oil under your tongue and swallow it, add the oil to your food or drinks, or eat edible candy or gummies made with CBD oil.

However you choose to use CBD oil, don’t get into it without first weighing the pros and cons. As always, consult your physician to ensure the best results.
