My name is David Binns. I began working out three years ago and while I was able to lose weight, I still lacked tone. I began lifting but only showed very small results after a year. Since I have started training with Armen, I have gained about 8 lbs of muscle in a short 3 months. I have more energy, better stamina, and my workout regimen has improved as well to be more rounded. These are things that I tried to do myself by reading books on the subject but that I am now convinced only comes with years experience and an extended education in training. These are both things that Armen possesses and has used to guide me to very favorable results. Using his advice I have improved my diet, and focused on foods that help burn fat and build muscle. My workouts have reached new levels with him pushing me to attain the best results. Armen has also helped me to create a workout schedule for the whole week, not just at personal training. I would recommend personal training to anyone who wants fast results that last.

Toxic Behaviors

Easy to spot in others, not so easy to see in yourself.

We all have weaknesses. For some it’s anger, while for others it’s envy or negativity. It’s often easier to recognize other people’s weaknesses than it is your own. But when you see toxic behaviors in yourself, hopefully you take steps toward becoming a better person. Meanwhile, being around people who frequently exhibit toxic behaviors is bound to bring you down, make you feel less than, and steal your joy.

If you struggle with any of the following destructive behaviors, take steps to change course and live a happier, more fulfilling life.


When someone goes out of her way to do something kind for you, what is your response? Do you express your gratitude or take the gesture for granted? Toxic behavior shows a lack of appreciation when others say or do kind things.

Giving the Silent Treatment

After an argument or offense, do you withhold your words or affection? Silent treatment is a form of control. You may not be willing to work out the problem, but being silent on the matter is a way to manipulate the other person to take the blame.


The room is too cold, the food is too spicy, the kids are so annoying, and your job pays too little. Complaining is a symptom of ungratefulness and insecurity. No one wants to be around someone who is always negative and pessimistic.


You may think the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, and someone will always be prettier, wealthier, or smarter. Being envious or jealous of what your neighbor has can eat you up inside. When you’re discontent with your lot in life, accept it or take steps to change it rather than comparing yourself to other people.

Blaming Others

Everyone makes mistakes, but what do you do when you realize you messed up? Are you quick to place the blame on someone else or do you take responsibility, own up to your mistakes, apologize, and make amends? Swallow your pride and seek forgiveness.


When others are in the room, are you glued to your screen? Are you always late to appointments when people are waiting on you? Do you constantly interrupt people when they’re talking? These are examples of being rude and self-centered. You need to put others’ feelings before your own.

Overly Sensitive

Do you take comments and jokes personally even though they weren’t meant to hurt you? It’s hard to be around someone who’s overly sensitive and easily offended. Be confident in who you are and what you think. Other people aren’t necessarily out to hurt you, so stop thinking they are and start enjoying their company.

Critical and Condescending

Are you quick to belittle and make fun of others? Do you judge others’ words and actions from a holier-than-thou mind frame? Your words have the power to tear down or to build up. No one wants to spend time with an arrogant person who thinks he’s better than everyone else. So don’t be that guy.

Short Tempered

How often do you lose your cool? When someone cuts you off in traffic, when your child spills her milk, or when the faucet springs a leak, how do you respond? The inability to manage your emotions in a healthy way can lead to bursts of anger, yelling, or foul language. Someone with anger issues poisons the atmosphere for others, stealing their joy.

Playing the Victim

Yes, bad things might have happened in your past. While they’ve helped to shape you into the person you are today, they don’t have to define the success of your future. Stop playing the victim and take steps toward the future with confidence.
